Well, if HRM can get two new dogs at her age - what is my excuse? Of course, she has considerably more help than I would. However, I like the names "Fergus" and "Muick". Yes and once again just because it wasn’t “legal” doesn’t mean that a meaningful exchange of vows didn’t happen.

It’s no different than same sex couples having a commitment ceremony.

What is important is that it is a meaningful commitment for them.
