I'm so, so sorry to hear this. :( My thoughts and prayers are with Lee and her family.

Oh wow, I'm just now seeing this thread and I'm so shocked by the news. Glad that there's been some positive updates in the last few hours (thank you so much @Gerry!) but I will send up lots of prayers and good wishes for Lee's recovery, for Gerry (please take care of yourself), and for the rest of their friends and family. Get well soon Lee! :( :wuzrobbed :fragile:

Thank you @Gerry and @pat c for the updates and news. I want to reiterate what others have said and take time for yourself to get some good meals and rest as much as you can when you are feeling so stressed. This will be a long road, but we all know how strong Lee is and I know she wants nothing more than to see you, her kids and grandkids and let you all know how much she loves you.

I am heartened by seeing posters who have not even posted on FSU in a long while coming into this thread and wishing Lee well. That's the kind of wonderful person she is, so liked by all. Stay strong and let us know if there is anything our FSU community can do for your family.

Good morning, everyone. We have just had a discussion with the Neurologist and are continuing to stay close to Lee. At this point, we can tell you that she is stable, still resting, and still on respiratory support.

Because her situation is still somewhat fragile, they are keeping her sedated and in a resting state. When they allow her to awaken a bit more (to evaluate her), we are encouraged by her responses, and hopeful that she will awaken and talk to us... but it's better for her to remain at rest as she heals.

Thank all of you for your thoughts and prayers; her situation continues to improve and we will update every so often.

Wonderful to hear there is improvement Gerry! Thank you for the update. Make sure you are resting beside Lee. She will appreciate that and you need it too! Continued positive healing thoughts being sent to Lee.

Thoughts and prayers to you and your family. I rarely post here anymore, but I remember Lee from way WAY back. This is heartbreaking and I hope she makes a good recovery.

Sending more healing thoughts to Lee and positive support to Gerry and the family. Echoing others advice to please, please look after yourselves in order to keep strong to help Lee during this journey.

This Christmas, my wish, more than anything ever, is that Lee's recovery is our Christmas Miracle.
