Puppy, Kitten and Dog Bowls

Tomorrow the annual Puppy Bowl & Kitten Bowl will be aired. A Dog Bowl is added for older dogs.

Many of these animals are rescues from various natural disasters that have happened.

Anyway, I got the idea to record and we watched the Dog Bowl last night. I'm doing the Kitten Bowl now in between reading FSU.

I really enjoyed the Dog Bowl. The Kitten Bowl, not so much. Too much footage of the "game" with that inane chattering by the "commentators" and also too many dogs. The Puppy Bowl just started here but I'm doing to see "I, Tonya" so I'll watch it later (recording it now).

I liked the chicken on the Puppy Bowl that played the piano for the National Athem. I think it has more talent than Justin Timberlake

I had to laugh - my mom's name was Shirley.

p.s. I love the ref. I've always thought he seemed like a real dog person, not just somebody they hired. And then they had that segment on him. He was even funny with Shirley.

I enjoyed the Puppy Bowl even though the puppies had too much energy for me. I think they did a good job of including other species in a way that made sense. I laughed a lot. (And never got to I, Tonya. Looks like it's going to be something I watch via streaming once it's on DVD.)

I really enjoyed the Puppy Bowl! And the pre-game training camp show. The only weak spot was the half-time kitten show. No self=respecting cat would ever go near such antics. They should have had cats operating the blimp, some of them snoozing, a few distracted by toys, etc. That would be more believable. Get Jackson Galaxy on board as consultant for next year!
