Did anyone get into the practice arena? I heard they weren't letting us in...but thought things might change once we're here.

I had typed out a few Junior singles notes earlier but lost the post. :( Trying to reconstruct now …

In yesterday’s morning practice, Patrick Blackwell did a cool 4T warmup exercise of pushing back from the rink boards with both hands right into a 3T. Then he landed a good looking 4T. Lorenzo Elano skated beautifully and with a lot of expression in his SP run through and Sasha Fegan also looked good.

This morning in Group B, Sophie Joline von Felten landed a very good 3A+3T (her planned SP combo) that I missed seeing, but I did see her land several other 3A & 4S on one foot. In her FS run through, she stepped out of her opening 3A, landed 4S (likely a bit underrot.), 3A+2T and her other triples. She looked calm & confident!

In Group C, Emilia Nemirovsky landed 3Lz+3T, 2A & 3F (hand) in her SP run though and Cleo Park landed 3S+3T, 2A & 3F in hers.

Championship Ladies’.
Lots of Ice Dance men’s chat from the guys when they get bored.

Starr Andrews. It was a non-skate. Her music is super-whiny.
Ting Cui - good music. NoTing to report.
Logan looking tentative, fell on a spin. Has a lovely variation on a one-hand biellmann.
Michelle Lee (long program) - Adele music. She’s not completing things. I hope she’s just going through the motions to keep warmed up.
Bradie - no show and the music’s really ponderous to start.

Ok, I’m bored. Done.

I only saw the end of pairs practice, Mcbeath/Parkman, Kam/Oshea, Cooke/Kennedy didn't see Hanns/Neudecker.
Everyone did well and is smiley but mostly small elements/warm up- saving everything for the later practice :)

Alexa Gasparotto attempted several (4?) 3As during Group C. Her takeoffs looked good to me but the timing of her landings was not there (falls). Her other triples looked very solid and more controlled with her current coaching team (Myers, Allen, Steenberg).
