Jason Brown attempted 4T in his free skate runthrough - looked well-rotated (q at most?) even with a fall; but good news is that there just didn't feel like the hesitation there that we used to see, esp on the 4S

Group B:

Jimmy Ma FS: 3T, 2T (two 4T are planned, marked 3A) 3Lz, 3Lo, 3Lz-half loop-3S, 3F - looks well-trained & more focused than I've seen him at previous Nationals

Jordan Moeller SP: 3A step, 3F+3T hand, 3Lz nice flow out

Eric Sjoberg Tchaikovsky FS that I love: 3A hand, 3F+3T, 3Lo, resumed with footwork to the soaring music, 3F turnout, 3Lz to 2A, back spiral to 3Lz, walley to 3S+2T+2T

Vincent Zhou FS jumps: 4Lz fall, 4F, 4S off-balance foot down, 3A+2T, 4Lz step, outside spread eagle to 3A, Ripp3Lz-half loop-3S.

Jason Brown FS (4T fall, high 3A step (stopped) 3F+3T, Besti squat into 3Lo, 3Lz-half loop-3S, deep edge-y footwork, very cool entry of rotating lunges on the ice & up into his final spin.

Mitchell Friess SP: 2A with spread eagle exit, marked 3Lz ... nice final spin combo ending in "haircutter" position

Group C is on the ice.

Who choreographed Naumov's Unstoppable? It is very cool program!
I think Adam Blake? Although Mathew Gates and Naumov's parents are also listed in his Team USA profile & event program book in the Choreographers line.

ETA: Adam Blake also choreographed Krasnozhon's new SP to "Je Dors Sur Les Roses" from Mozart l'Opéra Rock.

Thank you! I am not so familiar with Adam Blake... Need to google...

Gracie hitting some excellent jumps. 3 lutz/3 toes and a great 3 lutz Euler 3 salchow
I wonder if she wouldn't have benefitted this season from doing a lot of smaller competitions to try and get some of the nerves out? Her jumps in practice have looked almost as good as before she took time off. In competition though she completely goes stiff.

There really weren't any "smaller competitions" for skaters in Gracie's area (Philly) to compete in. Hopefully there will be more local opportunities for skaters later this year.

Final group of ladies' warmup is starting now.

No I know. I meant that in she was lacking that opportunity this year, and it's a shame because it may have helped her.

She did skate in the virtual comps but that probably doesn't feel the same as sectionals, Senior Bs, or Grand Prix. She did do SA where it seems she realized that things weren't quite where she needed them to be. I like Gracie and hope she does well tonight.

Bradie and Amber were almost mirroring each other's movements at center ice for a while and imagine what a pairs team they would be. They could take turns throwing each other.

So only Alysa (black top & leggings) didn't wear her FS costume in this group.

I'm watching the pairs now and digging the arena music. If people are going to skate to music with lyrics, this stuff would really float my boat.
