New medical grad Joannie Rochette to work at Quebec long-term care homes

World and Olympic medallist Joannie Rochette has just received her medical degree from McGill University, and she's joining in on the fight against the virus that shall not be named, according to this CBC article.

To put in context how bad the situation here is, workers like child speech therapists have essentially been conscripted to work in LTC facilities.

She’s not alone in helping out, but I could not be prouder of Joannie.

The premier of Quebec mentioned her in his press briefing today as being one among some 11,000 people who have volunteered to help in long term care facilities.
