And they didn’t release Osipova to skate with Bidar. This does seem to be the case. I’ve heard that Russia is not at all keen to let Karina Akopova go.
Did Louis find a new partner at least?
Does she have such a bad rep? Will Bourzat even take her back?
Not sure about her rep but I heard awhile ago that Bourzat would not teach her after Europeans.Does she have such a bad rep?
This isn't true. She actually kept on working with him after Europeans. Not sure about her rep but I heard awhile ago that Bourzat would not teach her after Europeans.
Oops you’re right. It happened after WorldsThis isn't true. She actually kept on working with him after Europeans.
Even after Worlds (that she attended to shop partners) Bourzat never said he wouldn't teach her again. She is still in touch with him and they aren't on bad terms.Oops you’re right. It happened after Worlds

Fabian Bourzat is now coaching in Paris- Bercy. He left Novi and was seen coaching his Ukrainian ice-dance team in Ukraine. Not sure if they will follow him in Paris.
Nathalie Pechalat is also coaching for the club.
They are creating a high-level training center.
Obviously, Lyon was traditionally the main center in France.
Mustaffaskr8 is referring to THIS. (Forward to 6.28)
I'm going to bet SB gets into the GP final this year.I don’t think Russian senior ice dance field is that crowded. Who are those couples the federation decided to invest in? There is Sinitsina/Katsalapov who haven’t been very consistent last season and struggled with injuries the last few years. They are not even in the main team, they are only in reserve. Long term I don’t think they are unbeatable. Stepanova/Bukin have improved in the past few years, but their progress seem to be quite slow. With this ‘fast’ progress they may get to medals when they are around late thirties, but by then they will be retired. Zahorski/Gurreiro have also improved but Again I wouldn’t say they are unbeatable. Popova/Mozgov - the same. Improving but can be overtaken. It’s not as if there are spots that are fully taken.
I hope so, but that still doesn’t make the Russian senior ice dance field crowded.I'm going to bet SB gets into the GP final this year.
