Nathan Chen Fan Thread #2

Nathan (and the rest of the US skaters) now confirmed for both the Tokyo and Osaka stops of SOI.

Nathan updated his IG with another Panasonic promo.

Young fan tells reporter Nathan is his inspiration.

According to a post Olympic survey Nathan has received a huge bump in popularity since the Games.
While no member of Team USA became a household name, figure skater Nathan Chen, who won one gold and one silver medal in Beijing, achieved the largest boost in awareness and favorability among the American public. In the post-Games survey, 40 percent of Americans indicated they have heard of Chen, up from 27 percent prior to the Games. The 48 percent increase put his awareness on par with that of snowboarder Chloe Kim. One in 4 U.S. adults said they have a favorable opinion of Chen following the Games, up from 15 percent before the Games.

Members of the new Xfinity rewards program will be able to earn a chance to meet with Nathan
Members also have access to experiences and events made possible through Xfinity’s wide array of sports, music, and entertainment partnerships – like a VIP experience to watch all the drama unfold live at NASCAR, tickets to NFL, NBA, NHL, and MLB games, exclusive virtual cooking demonstrations with award-winning celebrity chefs like Bren Herrera, host of Cleo TV’s Culture Kitchen, and Chef G. Garvin of Aspire TV's G. Garvin Live!, virtual meet and greets with Bravolebrities, tickets to top music events like the Latin American Music Awards in Las Vegas in April, and even a super VIP experience like the chance to meet Olympic gold medalist, Nathan Chen.

Nathan is among the honorees at this year’s Figure Skating in Harlem gala being held in NY in late April. The timing coincides well with when SOI will be on the East Coast (between the RI and PA tour stops).

Thank you for all of these links that you have posted! I'm trying to catch up on all things Nathan, before my winter vacation winds up!

Naturally, Nathan got my vote for Male USSA Athlete of the month! 😎👍

Don't know if this was posted before. If so, it's worth a second look. If not, it's really worth a look.
Looks like it was filmed by Ice Perspectives.
Raise your hand if you laughed and laughed when the author said Nathan "shocked the world" by performing a backflip in his exhibition program.
I sent one of the reporters a video of the one he did up in Sun Valley a few years ago.

This documentary was shown on Connecticut Public TV this evening and I immediately thought of Nathan and his love of pizza. I sent him the Youtube and told him to enjoy it. I also told him where the nearest location of Pepe's Pizza was relative to the Hartford Xcel Center when Stars On Ice is here. Me; I'm a Modern Pizza person.

The documentary makers picked up my tweet and retweeted it! @PizzaALoveStory

Nathan updated his IG with more behind the scenes from Family Feud.

Nick McCarvel confirmed Nathan's attendance at Worlds.
My question is whether or not he will use the same programs as the Olympics or change it up a bit? Mozart Requiem or pretty please, the Phillip Glass long program?

I’m pretty sure he’s going to keep his French song SP! ;)

Taped; not aired yet.
Oh YAY! Then I didn't miss it! I've set my dvr to record the series just in case! And it is indeed wonderful that Nathan's siblings get to bask a little in their baby brother's Olympic glory! ❤

Eta: Does anyone know the birth order of the Chen siblings? I know that Nathan is the baby of the family. 👶
