And depending where you are in Canada, spring can still mean getting a blizzard!

As Northern Alberta has made very apparent. We've had snowfall warnings since Thursday. It's apparently going to keep snowing until Wednesday.

I'd love Worlds in Edmonton because it would be fairly easy for me to get there. Calgary's weather can in theory be a bit nice though being further south. The weather is usually a bit less insane in the spring.

I wasn't saying it's not possible to have winter weather in March (I had the pleasure of freezing my butt off in London 2013). Was just commenting that Worlds is technically not in a winter month, so we fans have a right to expect a bit of relief.

Toronto area might be your best bet.

I was also at London Worlds. It was during March Break and it was a lot milder than this past March Break. You never know what March can bring.

The snow was blowing sideways my first day in London. We had to seek refuge in the first restaurant we could find during our walk to the arena.

That was the event that I went to. I was two rows from the top of the arena in the nose bleed seats. I don't remember any weather issues either.

Here's hoping for Worlds 2020 in Vancouver, and someone (Starr Andrews, maybe?) doing a Short Program to "Another Day of Sun" and a Free Skate to "I Can't Stand the Rain," with the weather duly co-operating.

I must have lucked out and been in transit when the weather was fine, and warm and dry in the arena whenever the weather was bad then!

I remember rain one day, but other than that I remember it being pretty balmy and I have pictures of me outside only wearing a sweatshirt so it couldn't have been too cold. It was cold the night our hotel had a fire and we had to evacuate in our pyjamas though.

March weather pretty much anywhere in Canada can be unpredictable, but that's typical for spring.

Worlds in London went from warm and wonderful the weekend before to pouring rain to cold, windy and snowing. I remember well walking to and from my hotel to the arenas. I was so sick the next week after getting soaking wet.

There's one piece of music I never want to have to hear again. Followed by American in Paris and Sunshine. Some of the other old chestnuts don't bother me so much, as I guess I generally like them better. I never get tired of Fellini/Nina Rota and find POTO tolerable - at least it was, before lyrics were allowed.

Well if it is in mtl...bell centre is downtown mtl which is largest business hub..metro stops right the way through....I looked today which is Sunday-holiday schedule and a bus runs through downtown leaving every 9 mins.
Lots of gyms, dance studios a million places to eat....lots of eating places within the venue as well.There is normally shuttles to downtown from the airport which if not rush hour-30 to 45min drive.

That's great but according to Skate Canada they won't be using a venue as large as the Bell Centre. They're looking for a venue with around 10k seats - similar to the Budweiser Gardens in London.

They can just use the lower bowl. it is used for concerts etc with seating 10 or 11k.
