Loved the Miu Kih Sp - thank goodness they went to ShaeLynn. Decent costumes, she’s finally got her hair under control, they look healthy.

Also liked Carmen - that’s a tricky edit to fit into the SP but it worked!

Well, here we are for Day 3 and the stream is live!

Mauder/Wilkinson - all black for him, her dress is mostly black with some gold accent, most notably gold armbands around her biceps. Meh 2tw, fall on the throw 3s - and it was really tiny & slow; SBS 2t; Second throw was a 2Lo and fine; music is Deliver Us - Mercedesz Csampai, Debbie Kurup, Hannah Selk & The Prince of Egypt Original Cast Ensemble - which I guess explains the costumes; SBS 2t+1a+1a were fine; really nice platter lift, decent pairs spin. It wasn't amazing, but it also wasn't terrible. It just kind of was/is.

Faula/Belle - unitard for her that matches his outfit - white on the top that ombres into a dark teal that ombres into midnight blue; decent 3tw, first SBS jumps were okay 2t+1a, they wiped out on the SBS 3s, nice lift, she wipes out on the throw 3Lo, good death spiral and 2nd lift, she two-foots the landing on the throw 3S, last lift is also strong, pairs spin is also not terrible but they finish behind the music. Well, that was an uninspiring hot mess. Hey, lookie there... They did manage to earn the GP Min Score, so they can be added to the GP Alternates List which I guess justifies their GPdF assignment.

Ryom/Han - dark grey, almost black costumes - she has some geese appliqued onto the stop of her costume - oh, she's in a unitard, btw - music is Flocks of Wild Geese Fly by Kim Hyok Chol. High 3tw - bit crashy on the landing; SBS 2s+1a+1a; into a kind of slow and bland pairs spin. Hands down and step out on the throw 3F - could wind up counting as a fall. Two decent lifts. And down she goes on the throw 3s. I think I missed their other SBS jumping pass (protocols say it was a 3T <)- another solid lift into a death spiral to end. They finished a bit behind the music. Well, that was... The music was very elevator-y, and the program was pretty pedestrian.

ETA - they just managed to get the 4CCs CTES min by .17!

KucBid - he's got black pants and a shirt that's mostly seafoam green but has some grey/black airbrushing, her dress is black with the same ombre into seafoam green on her wrists and on the skirt, the bodice is a deep v with crystals/stoning on the edges, same crystals/stoning down the back trailing over her rear onto the skirt.

Total wipeout on the 3tw; SBS 3t+1a+1a fine. SBS something clean - 2S per protocol; good throw 3F - she may have had a slight 2ft but I think it was clean; hand down on the throw 3Lo; lifts are all fine. Another pairs spin that has them finishing behind the music. SMDH.

Did I mention this is a CarPon tribute? "Wicked Game" without the WTF dance break.

CalMag - basic black for both of them - she's in a catsuit and has Princess Leia buns; he has some sort of applique design on one shoulder. Decent 3tw; okay SBS combo - they stayed upright - protocol says 1a<<+1a+1a (I also missed their stunning SBS 2S before that, lol); throw 3F - she two-footed the landing; same with the throw 3Lo - and she also had a hand down; nice lift; next lift - she's tilting downward on the platter. Why haven't they updated their music on their ISU bio? Not going to bother to Shazam it. Hey, look at that - a pairs spin and ending pose that ends with the music!

Well, hell - I just missed HocKun because my modem decided to reboot randomly. They look pleased.

Oh, and my stupid modem didn't just restart once but it did it twice! GRAWR.

ETA - that's not a score that would make me pleased and, looking at their PB in the FS - they're a good 18 points off of that, so this definitely wasn't a good effort.

I watched on my phone while I was still waking up. Pretty good program to "Rock Me Amadeus." But due to the tiny screen and the still-waking-up thing, I'm too fuzzy on the details to give any substantive reports!

PavSvia - well, their costumes are at least pirate-y! He kind of is channeling Orlando Bloom in his look. Beautiful 3tw! SBS 3t+2a+2a (protocol says the first 2a was q). Hard to say - they weren't in the frame together, lol. Swishy throw 3F! Good SBS 3S! FODS with a bent, held blade position for her (she kind of looks like a dog holding up one leg to pee on the fire hydrant, if I'm being honest); another swishy throw 3Lo! What's the point of the voiceovers in this slower section? I definitely think they're supposed to be portraying Will Turner & Elizabeth Swann based on the voiceovers. Slow-assed pairs spin during the fast POTC theme music to end? Lame! They look gassed here at the end. Maybe they'll have some personality by the end of the season with this, but it's not there right now.

Yes, Christine from Phantom was known for swanning around in red glittery dresses. At least he's got the requisite ruffled shirt. The throw on the musical change works really well.

GhiAmbro - red dress with spaghetti straps - is she going to homecoming or prom in this dress? White shirt with puffy sleeves and a ruffled collar for him, black pants. He's definitely the phantom, she is... just some random chick. Big 3tw! SBS 3S popped into 2S, lol. SBS 2a+1a+1a - she did a 3-turn out of the 2a before the rest of the seq. Okay platter lift - I hate how she is always tilting in it but this time wasn't as bad as others; decent death spiral. Decent throw 3Lz - she may have let her hand brush the ice; throw 3Lo was gorgeous! They're skating very fast and keeping up with the music - fantastic lift and swishy exit that was just flying, same for the last lift! Pairs spin kind of slows to end but still keeps up with the music fairly well - though they did finish just behind it. Not bad - this has the potential to be a great program if they can sort out their SBS jumping issues.

Well, they may use warhorses, but they know how to use 'em! Really good skate! Some of those lift exits are INSANE!

The last few seconds of music need to be fixed, though. A Phantom program shouldn't end in a chipper major key.

Nice lift - not as fast or as impressive as GhiAmbro though. Throw 3Lo - she had a knee bend on the landing and may have put a hand down but held on. Oh, good - pairs spin in the middle of the program and with nice speed throughout but at least it's here rather than at the end where it will just kill the pacing and build. SBS 3s - yup, protocol says q too. They both held on but he was kind of wonky on it. OMG - fall on their lift! That was unexpected! Throw 3Lz - another hand down maybe? Good death spiral. Last lift is fine - that's the signature one where he lifts her from his knees and they exit with him on his knees.

He's injured. Riku looks very concerned.
