GuiFab - I missed seeing their look during the warmup - yeah, someone said "Full-on robot" and I concur, lol. OMG - just from the opening pose and moves, I can tell this is going to be all the WTFery we love in ice dance. Ooooo this combo lift was amazing.

You know, this is about the only time where I think their lack of height difference actually really works in a program.

Bit rough on the transition in the middle of the dance spin but that will get smoothed out as the season goes on. Definitely some early season hiccups here and there that you only notice now because usually they're so smooth and polished in everything they do.
Honestly, this program is kind of awesome. That dance lift at the end - they need to smooth the transitions to different positions as well but it's very cool.

Overall - their RD is trash in the worst ice dance way, but their FD is trash in the best, most voidy way.

I’ve never been a fan of the Italians but I actually really enjoyed that. They definitely had some parts that looked new but overall I thought it was good!

I think these are the costumes from their androids exhibition, but if G/F are keeping them they really need to invest in some boot covers.

I’m so glad they went for it and abandoned the nice but dull soundtracks, but this felt a bit one note and I would like to see them commit more when the programme has more mileage. First lift was wow.

One thing I would change about their costumes is to have the pants go completely over their boots. It's a real distraction to have her pure white boots and his pure black boots kind of breaking up the otherwise very streamlined look.

Eh, I don't think they need to be doing any sort of "storytelling" here - I like the concept of robot ice dancers. It's different and unique all without some backstory to go with it. And definitely a way to set themselves apart from the usual fare we get in ice dance these days.

I like Guignard & Fabbri's programs!
They've grown so much on me during the last season.

I think the RD is cute and funny. The FD still looks very rough, but I think the program will work later in the season with more polish and i love the costumes (just would be great if one of them could somehow change the color of the skates).

NesMark - the youngest Marrieds of US ice dance, lol. Her costume looks like something Danaerys Targaryen would wear.

Just bringing this back because, per their post-skate comments, they did intend on this being a GOT-esque look.

I have long loved G/F, but I'm sorry this FD (minus some cool spin positions) is the stillborn love child of Chock/Bates alien/astronaut and the Kerrs robot FD. Voids are not their strength -especially when portraying emotionless androids. OTT melodrama is much more their wheelhouse.

Good, not stellar, skating for Morozov/Chen. Love the soaring Star Wars music mix. Cleaning up their transitions in and out of the spins and lifts will make the program even more effective.

Soucisse/Firus not even being able to beat the 5th ranked French team? Oooof.
