Just because the Lombardia Pairs event doesn't have Challenger Series status this year doesn't mean we should give short shrift to the ten pairs teams competing this weekend!

It has four countries competing and enough entrants, right?

It wasn't one of the designated Challenger Series pairs competitions so it doesn't count as a Challenger Series for pairs. Which is a shame since it has more pairs teams than ACI (though ACI's pairs competition was only elevated to Challenger status after they lost all their non-Canadian men).
