To me the words "his young friend," (used to refer to the victim) say it all. There is a clear bias towards him -- affection even -- on the past of the tribunal.
I am appalled. Having talent should never be considered as an excuse for poor (and in this case illegal) behaviour. Yet another example of the how much sporting prowess is valued in Australia. This is not an isolated example of sports people being treated favourably in comparison to others, and at the expense of victims.
