I know a lot of people in the US flew to Canada to see Virtue/Moir skate -- and ice dancers don't jump at all.

Brian Boigano predicted the demise of figure skating shows when they allowed the elligable skaters skate. Jumps are what people can understand..(they go up, they go down..they don't fall.)

I would love to see COP applied correctly. The PCS IMO should have nothing to do with the tech score. It is not surprising that people don't follow skating.

I think PCS applied to tech makes sense. It's a good way to differentiate between jumps done well and jumps done not so well.

I'd like to add my drink to your list. I invented the drink back in the 80's and shared it with a bartender friend of mine at a place in my town where everyone went on the weekends called Rick & Anita's The Place. It was sort of like the bar in the show called Cheers.

We all knew each other's name and when I introduced my drink to the bartender, it became the most popular drink that everyone ordered:

Goomagotchie on the Rocks.

2 shots of Smirnoff Vodka
1/2 shot of Cuervo Gold.
1/2 shot of Disaronno Liqueur

Pour all ingredients in a tall glass over the rocks and add Coke. Add one slice of lemon for the final touch. And it definitely makes it more fun and interesting when you're watching figure skating with a Goomagotchie on the Rocks.

As the son of Italian Royalty vodka is always an appropriate choice for a martini and is always what I consume except for that one time I had a layover in Gran Canaria and I think I was slipped grey goose.

Oh nooooo my version of the alpine martini is to die for and I will be having one in about 24 minutes
