I agree. He’s skating off his count, not his music and the music, while it had a heavy 1,2,3,4 beat, was not helpful.

Louis has some musicality, but jumps/nerves/growth issues. He’d done a great 2A in warmup, so he has the jump. To be at Junior Nats after skating 4 years has got to be quite a trip. Good for getting through it and better luck in the free.

I actually think this might be an interesting move for him. He has good things about his skating that would translate to pairs pretty well.

There was a lot of discussion about the pay-to-play international events and whether they’re “fair” earlier in the year. Since national start orders are now done based on world standings, that’s another advantage for those who participated.

Sergei looks like he could be Prince Harry’s cousin.
He was nicely centered on most elements until his final spin; he got sloppier as the skate went on. I could see him staying in and maybe making it to Senior Men at some point.

Yeah, and he's a member of All Year FSC, so there's surely got to be a would-be pairs girl who needs a partner at Great Parks for him.
