Flores and Wang are a good example of why I think it’s never a good idea to defend a junior title .

They were trying senior elements and probably should have competed senior if that was their strategy. I wonder if they abandon the 3T for Junior Worlds and go back to the 2A sequence.

The bigger problem to me is that they lack an international look, and I don’t think they quite match size-wise. Flores needs a hulk as her partner.

USFS needs to get Jarmoc/Witkowski out to a spring international

Circling back to this - both Merano Ice Trophy and Challenge Cup have Jr Pairs next month. Challenge Cup's entry deadline has already passed and they are limiting their Jr Pairs field to just 4 teams, so that probably isn't an option. Merano Ice Trophy's entry deadline is today and the announcement doesn't limit the field size, so if the Int'l Committee was inclined, they could send them there. No idea if JarWit would be up for their first int'l in three weeks, but that's the only event they could be sent to before next season.

Hansen and Church are going to the Netherlands competition.

Witkowski and Jarmoc are sporting Team USA jackets at the nationals so I won't be surprised if they are going as well
