"She'll need some help if she wants to maintain a medal"
No, bc pewter exists, so she has a medal.

Which means she's on the podium. This pewter medal-erasure during US Nats weeks is unacceptable!Barely misses second as of now. she’s on the podium as of now, but we have to wait one more

DOB is Dec 20, 2012 - she won't be eligible for juniors until the 2026-27 season.Lautowa-Peguero is one that's too young for juniors internationally, right? She's itty bitty.
I don’t find Skylar’s long set ups attractive. It’s like the jumps are completely disassociated from the program.
I actually liked her jumps because she's very patient on take-off. She doesn't rush them which helps her have a higher success rate. I don't find them particularly small.
Sophie was also behind her by 7 points after the SP.Oh my gosh, she almost won. Sophie wins by less than a point.
When she got to the spiral near the end, there was a flash of personality, but heck. Getting the skills down at 12 means she’s got a year to relax a bit and develop performance skills. Here’s hoping she continues to grow those skills.I know Skylar is only 12 but she really lacks that ice coverage and commanding of her power. It just feels like jump, jump, jump. Her face isn't giving much either.
They look fundamentally sound to me. But they shouldn’t earn a lot of GOE because not a lot of speed, distance, height, flow on landing, etc. Those are aspects she can improve as she grows. There's something a little wonky about Lautowa-Peguero's jumps. They're small, which of course, she is small, but I feel like they're small even for that. Beyond that something else looks a little odd to me, but I'm not in teknik enough to tell what.
let's hope no massive growth spurt! When she got to the spiral near the end, there was a flash of personality, but heck. Getting the skills down at 12 means she’s got a year to relax a bit and develop performance skills. Here’s hoping she continues to grow those skills.
