Nice twizzles, posture seemed pitched over in diagonal steps and didn’t get the levels either. He is strong in lifts

Japanese team - fuchsia, one-sleeved dress for her, basic black for him with a champagne gold vest that has some burgundy lace strips applied to the front over the shoulder and down the back. No idea what this music is or how these costumes fit with it. It's all very random. Now the music has taken on a vaguely Middle Eastern vibe and I'm guessing he's supposed to be some street boy like Aladdin but not Aladdin? That was fine, I guess.

I got Bollywood from the hand movements and positions, but the music confused me at times.

Finelli/Bucciarelli - pine green costumes - oh, wait, this is the damn NDdP program, so of course their costumes are this green color. I don't get it and Jenna Hauer had the very best, most creative NDdP costume ever, it's just a shame we only got to see it a couple of times last year. I despise this music enough to wish they'll finish behind Ovsiankina/Rahier overall.

Pretty damn sure the judges wouldn't have cared about that had there not been an actual technical issue that caused them to lose value on one of their elements. Just like the judges didn't care whether accused rapist was competing at Worlds until he botched his twizzles in the RD.

The cynic in me agrees, and she takes up most of the chair. But I still don't get why you'd risk it, it's such a weird choice.

Nice flow through the one-foot steps, would like them to add more speed throughout the program, pleasant performance

Straub sibs have really improved an enormous amount the last couple of seasons. He’s probably slightly stronger technically but she’s starting to develop some nice nuance of expression. I’d still have them behind Ovsiankina/Rahier in the free.
