Yes and no? Without the RD errors, they would have easily outscored what Ilin/Cain achieved last week, and even with the errors they still scored higher than both Renzi/Lissauer and Deych/Hu did in their lone GPs.Pedersen/Starr
Pedersen’s coming off a partnership where Chen was the star and in Starr’s old partnership, expression was a weakness for both, it’s definitely still a weakness, but they’ve hardly had time to work on it—I’ll withhold judgement for now, musical straight line lift, some sticky moments
Frankly, I’m not convinced they need (or earned) two JGP assignments this season. Stapert/Korotcov could have used the chance and P/S clearly need more time to gel.
They were asked by USFS to drop back down to Jrs after the ISU raised the age limit. The USFS knew that WolfTsar weren't likely to get any GP assignments since the USA is nearly maxed out (CoC is the only GP with less than 3 US teams, and FlorDes were already ahead of WolfTsar on the SB list). This was a way of getting them out there internationally and potentially on the JWC podium which would probably get them at least 1 GP next season, plus the USA wasn't looking super-strong on the jr level, or so they believed. Why exactly are W/T still in Juniors they are practically 21/20 now.
If they can start hurricanes, everyone can definitely start blaming their jump falls on it.You've met the Bercy Pigeon. Now say hello to the Gdansk Butterfly.
