Thanks, Sylvia! I must have been looking at the wrong junior results because I thought they seemed strange but it was late and I didn't research further. :)

Ilia, Jason, Junhwan, Kevin, Vincent & Nathan! This is wonderful that they've been invited to perform in Japan. Wish someone could be like the Shibs & make behind the scenes videos about life on the tour.

Wow, once again, it is saddening to see Kagiyama not getting "all +5s" on "all his jumps" despite his sheer capability of doing so at 2022 worlds. What will it take for the judges to finally stop being "foolish"? I'm pretty sure it would have given him the world gold, the judges should be ashamed. Maybe there will be a new physics theory called the Kagiyama theory that proves he deserves all +5s on all jumps and is better on jumping than Malinin who only does more difficult jumps but doesn't have better technique, which is after all how he managed to rotate a 4A in practice. Maybe this theory can be worked on by a former math teacher and reported on by a positive reporter.

GSD thread for the Fantasy on Ice shows, headlined by Hanyu (Wakaba H. had to pull out due to injury):
Cast has been announced for The Ice-men only so far
Link to the GSD thread for The Ice shows:

Photos of Kaori Sakamoto with Rohene Ward in Chicago and Yuka Sato in Detroit for 2 weeks of choreography: https://www.instagram.com/p/CdU3piup2Lj/

Clip of Kaori working with Rohene on a program to Janet Jackson's "Rock With U": https://www.instagram.com/p/Cc1G9QPp4vI/
It could be a competition (short?) program because this post with photos from her sponsor/management group says Yuka Sato choreographed a show program for her in the 2nd week she was in the U.S. and Kaori is quoted as saying - machine translation - "I had Rohene-sensei do choreography for the first, and I was working every day with sore muscles due to the movements I had never done before ... It's been a very fulfilling day not only choreography but also jumping and skating lessons!": https://www.instagram.com/p/CdU3piup2Lj/

David Wilson shared this photo last week ("After over a year of working via zoom, so gr8 to be on the ice together again!! Welcome Mai Mihara :)"): https://www.instagram.com/p/CdHI-A7uFqB/

Wilson shared 2 pics with Rika Kihira at the Cricket club in late April ("Fun working with Rika on a new show number :)"): https://www.instagram.com/p/Cc4QcvfOGr5/
New EX debuted at the Prince Ice World shows in Shin-Yokohama was "You Raise Me Up": https://twitter.com/rika_kihira/status/1523552748884873219

PIW's Instagram account has photos: https://www.instagram.com/princeiceworld/

Kihira article (May 8):
Re. her recovery from the stress fracture of her right talus (ankle): "I haven't jumped in a quadruple jump, but I'm jumping in triples and combinations, even though it's said to be bad."

Google translation of the rest:

Regarding the goal for next season, she said, "I haven't decided which match I will play in yet. I want to reach the peak of the All Japan Championship without being impatient." The free song revealed that it would continue "Titanic" and showed confidence in the announcement, saying, "I haven't played it in the game yet, but it has been further brushed up."

Regarding studying under coach Brian Orser at the Cricket Club in Toronto, Canada since September last year, she said, "I had the choreography corrected, I saw the flow to the jump, and the skating was greatly improved. I wonder if it is. Coach Tracy (Wilson) also teaches me the steps." She recently traveled twice in a short schedule of about two weeks between ice shows.

At the Beijing Olympics, which was a dream, Kaori Sakamoto (22 = Sysmex) won a bronze medal as a group and as an individual, and turned to the side of seeing the success of the Japanese. She said, "It was great. I was happy as a friend and I was encouraged to have a chance if I didn't give up. I also felt like Milan," she said to the Milan Cortina d'Ampezzo Olympics in 2026.

"I want to make the season even stronger because of the injury."

On this day, the Wings for Life Foundation will hold a charity run that will start all over the world with the aim of funding the discovery of treatment methods for spinal cord injuries. As a member of the Red Bull athlete, Kihira participated in the April Run event Jingu Gaien in Tokyo as a guest.

Since my right ankle hasn't healed yet, I smiled, "I'm walking. It makes sense to participate."

"I don't feel too impatient or depressed, I don't blame myself right away, I know the importance of not overdoing it and resting hard, and I don't feel guilty about not practicing."

I think it is great Sakomoto has a courage to try something new! or, in her own words:

“Until now, I have been prioritizing my personality, but I want to fight on a different line,”
For further evolution, I chose to leave the famous combination with Mr. Richaud, who I was accustomed to.”
