IOC's decision: (clean) Russian athletes can compete under neutral flag at PyeongChang Olympics

Bobrova could say
She was only “provisionally suspended” for an Aaf! She never had a adrv. Never was suspended!!

More speculations, as if it hasn’t been enough:
Artem Patsaev, a lawyer, who works with Russian athletes (and if I remember correctly, he was the one who helped Yulia Efimova before Rio Olympics) wrote on his Facebook page that we may expect some “good news” on January, 30-31.
:respec:

I didn't miss your point. You blamed the I.O.C. for reaching an agreement with a corrupt organization. That was unnecessary. It is possible to criticize a corrupt organization without criticizing third parties who had to deal with it.

No you did not understand my point at all. And you didn't understand my clarification. C'est la vie. Let it go.

I think Bobrova needs to attempt to reach out to the IOC to clarify her situation. Somethings like this might be dealt with on a single even basis as needed. Id hope anyways.

They might not want to make Bobrova an issue becuase they don't want to draw attention to the whole "You're banned! Whoops, no you're not! Sorry you missed the World Championships (and probably the WTT)! Our bad!" situation.

Not a good look when you're currently banning people without explanation, while insisting that it's justified.

lol.. im sure the fans can bring anything they want unless the IOC is putting a ban on fans bringing in russian flags??

In all the major Russian news sources I looked at this flag issue was on all of them! It’s now a major victory for Russia! Lol. A victory over the west!

They actually thought about banning them but realised this was impractical.
yes, because all one needs to do is at least one of 3 things -

Bring Slovenia or Slovakia Flags (and fold over the emblem):

Or bring 3 long scarfs: white, blue and red, and hold them together... (with pins or else).
Or, fan can wear: white hat, blue sweater, red pants..

Russia won over the West, when for the "West" a silly thing like "Russian flag" became an issue of concern.... :D

If any Russian Figure skater accepts anything that is discovered had a Russian flag somewhere on it They can be be disqualified.

So best to be safe to skip accepting anything thrown on the ice.

Retweeting or favoriting a tweet that mentions Russia is banned
Don't be silly...... They can say "Russia" as long as it is "athlete from Russia" vs. "athlete from Russian Federation"..... people lost their mind, but at least it's funny... :D

Happy to see bedroom behavior is being regulated too

OAR members will, however, be allowed to display the Russian flag in their bedrooms providing it is not "publicly visible".

victory over the west.. LOL.. I really dont think its about the western world. This is about them being fair and sport. Period. They are changing the focus on the ban to them winning their freedom to show flags. Its a joke.

Some Russian media is having a blast with a "flag" issue, writing articles like "The West is afraid of the Russian Flag".

With Putin's elections coming up in a few weeks, the issue with the Olympics is certainly swaying public towards patriotism, those who, in spite of the fact that Putin will win, were considering voting for the opposition... :D... and the hope that at least some notable percentage will vote against Putin is dwindling across the country, based on blogs, forums, chats in regional and municipal areas outside of Moscow.... ;) ... when one gets lemons, one makes lemonade.

Are the judges really members of the countries team?
