In Memoriam

Well, this is odd.

The BBC has postponed the broadcast of a documentary showing the last years of Ozzy Osbourne's life, which had been scheduled to be broadcast on Monday.

Ozzy Osbourne: Coming Home had been due to air on BBC One at 21:00 BST, but was removed from the schedule earlier in the day.

A BBC spokesperson said: "The film has moved in the schedules and we'll confirm new transmission details in due course."

No reason was given for the postponement of the one-hour film, which will show the rock star's move back to the UK and the run-up to his farewell concert in Birmingham in July and his death at the age of 76 later that month.

Providence Rhode Island judge Frank Caprio passed today after a long cancer battle. Judge Caprio is internet famous for his show “Caught in Providence” where he showcased his compassionate handling of cases where the offender happened to be poor, brown, or both.

Well, this is odd.

The Guardian says that it was postponed because of a request from the family. The cynical side of me wonders if Sharon got into some kind of business dispute with someone involved with the film.

I will not leave it at that:

I was trying to speak as little ill of the dead as was possible. But some of his “advice” on marriage, sexuality, and parenting was some of the most illogical and even horrific stuff out there. And it’s been debunked by so many times by experts - even by some who happen to be religious themselves. But there are some who will insist that Focus on the Family is the best resource out there for “Christian living”. 😒
