The BBC has postponed the broadcast of a documentary showing the last years of Ozzy Osbourne's life, which had been scheduled to be broadcast on Monday.

Ozzy Osbourne: Coming Home had been due to air on BBC One at 21:00 BST, but was removed from the schedule earlier in the day.

A BBC spokesperson said: "The film has moved in the schedules and we'll confirm new transmission details in due course."

No reason was given for the postponement of the one-hour film, which will show the rock star's move back to the UK and the run-up to his farewell concert in Birmingham in July and his death at the age of 76 later that month.

I loved this role of his so much that I had hoped they would make a follow up film about this romance. Stamp was a brilliant actor.

The Guardian says that it was postponed because of a request from the family. The cynical side of me wonders if Sharon got into some kind of business dispute with someone involved with the film.

I was trying to speak as little ill of the dead as was possible. But some of his “advice” on marriage, sexuality, and parenting was some of the most illogical and even horrific stuff out there. And it’s been debunked by so many times by experts - even by some who happen to be religious themselves. But there are some who will insist that Focus on the Family is the best resource out there for “Christian living”.

Dobson was absolutely the epitome of everything I hate about religion (I consider myself an agnostic). His toxic values were part of the reason I became "unchurched" as an adult.

In Memoriam is about remembering. It literally translates to "In Memory of." If the memories are bad, so be it.
