Well that was certainly entertaining. One of the things I thought about when reading the novels was that James may not have been easy to admire because he was so cocky and yet he was devoted to his friends and Lily. The James in this film is like the James I imagined. I liked the film, whether it was done by a known director and some fans. It was so well done.

I like that they showed Severus' ability and his anguish over Lily.

Severus is actually exceptionally powerful, able to conceal himself from Voldamort; it was not until there was direct evidence that Severus was a rival by way of the claim to the Elder Wand that Voldamort killed him, and without magical means, I might add. Furthermore, Dumbledore went to Severus for potions to hold off the effects of incurable dark magic.
