I would not doubt it if it came out that he believed that every success US MAG has had since his competitive days is attributable to him.

So I thought this whole working from home thing was gonna be great for watching these two team finals this week but after today, I might be rethinking that since the US men drove my stress level and heart rate up so high that I ended up working 40 minutes late today, LOL  (If the US women could just do awesome right from the start and get a huge lead from their vaults, that will help me avoid some of the stress and keep me from working late again tomorrow, LOL :D)

At any rate, I am THRILLED for the US men and thought they did a pretty fabulous job overall. Still not totally sure what happened on Fred's PH routine (and I felt horrible for Khoi having that error on his PH routine) but the team didn't let the errors get to them and kept fighting for everything they could for the rest of the competition. Asher's VT and Rings were amazing, Yul rocked FX and PB in a way I haven't seen from him a while, Paul Juda was rock solid on all of his events, Khoi came back nicely after the errors on PH, and Fred came back strong too (that HB routine was so solid). I loved that they kept encouraging and cheering for each other the entire time as well which I think has spread to some of the other teams since it almost felt like a college meet today! The US guys really did become a solid team for this event and I'm so stinking proud of them. Way to go guys!! :cheer: :cheer: :cheer:

if he hadn't been there to call out every hop this never would have happened
Hah, but say what you will about Tim, I appreciate his enthusiasm. Great combo with Roethlisberger, who provides outstanding analysis.

That network dork and his stupid cornball "jokes" can leave anytime. Where is Terry Gannon?

Yes! I work from home full time and started watching the men yesterday. I ended up turning it off after they didn't do so well on pommel horse because it was too stressful and I had to pick up my kids from school. I don't like watching things live. I love being spoiled. ?

Is Peacock archiving the coverage to be watched later? I won't be at home today, and I'd love to be able to watch later.

My Peacock took forever to load yesterday, so I decided to get ahead of things. It started right up today, so I have 20 minutes of Coverage Will Begin Shortly. THE vault will be in the first half hour and I don’t want to miss it.

it started - just learned that the first Worlds in gymnastics whatsoever was in Antwerpen as well :-D

They just said she’s not planning to do it today.

Joscelyn Roberson out of the competition most likely after a wonky vault landing. Didn’t get up on her own, carried out of arena. Leanne Wong now warming up.
