Gymnastics #24 - The Road to Paris

You know he showed up without the blazer and they had to cover that up. They tried the NBC shirts a while ago during the Nastia era. It didn’t go well. Plus Nastia went rogue after that and started showing up in Satin cocktail dresses.
Listen, Tim's the old basic white guy who is secretly jealous of everything Johnny Weir ever wears on air, lol.

Okay, I'm being swayed toward Donnell. I mean Stephen can still score almost 2 points higher than one of the likely three that will go on pommel even on a somewhat off day for him, but Donnell is really delivering and the story would be nicer. And it breaks up the stress on the others.

I think Brody, Fred, and Khoi are locks and Yul should be just about a lock with just one good day at Trials.

Anyone know how Daiki is looking lately i 100% do not really follow men's gymnastics lol

FYI, for anyone else who isn't a fan of the banana pants, all of the guys will wear red, white, and blue team USA gear for the Olympic Trials so you don't have to worry about being blinded by obnoxious pants during that event, LOL  :cheer:

Just briefly looked at the junior results. Is there some reason they broke they men up into two groups but not the women?

i'm going to be real with y'all yul looks like a kpop star and i'm into that

This is the least surprising thing you've ever said.

@canbelto really is right about the banana, er... maize just being a terrible color for any gymnast. We need to get Fred Richard some red, white and blue pants and shorts for Paris.

I literally hate every single one of you. I'm going to remember this slight FOREVER. I'm going to send my national championship winning football team to run you over. And I'm going to specify that they wear the MAIZE PANTS while doing it.

ANYWAYS, I have Fred, Yul, Khoi, and Brody on the team after today. Wiskus and Juda also looked pretty usable. Donnell looks like an option. Hong has a LOT of work to do. (I'm taking one for the team as far as taking Brody, because hearing him in interviews exhausts me.)

There are 40+ junior men and only about 14-15 junior women.

I did notice that, which also seemed odd to me. I wouldn't have thought gymnastics would be that popular with guys. I just wondered if there was something else, like an age or skill level difference too.

And how do we lure some into figure skating?
