They posted extra pics on FB with the trampoline athletes and you can see the demonic eagle singlet for the men there. Literally it's a red-eyed eagle. I hate-love it so much.

Here's a pic of it -

That red-eyed eagle really is absolutely demonic, lol!

I was watching older Olympics videos and I preferred the 2000-2004 era for leos. We are definitely in a "more is more" fashion period. (and don't even get this old lady started on what brides are wearing these days)

I’m wondering with all the power outages in Texas if our Olympians are able to train. Cecile Landi posted something about not having power at home.

I don't live in that part of Houston, but I've been seeing rental generators all over the place here. There are options if they have $$$$

Most people I know have power back already so it may not be an issue anyway

You don't know the Houston subreddit, it's full of overheated angry people.

(My little suburb is at ~50% as far as I can tell)
lol I'm not in houston so admittedly my sample size in small but my sister lives down there

Still too overdone for the most part for my taste. I actually love the white one though. In one of the close up it seems like pearls mixed with a nice iridescent sparkle. But I know not everyone likes to wear a fully white leo, so will be interesting to see if any of them choose to wear it.

The assumed team final one is ok for me. I like it better than the Rio one actually.

The red one with the deep slash of mesh is interesting. Suni will look amazing in that; with a red lip and a high bun it would be perfection. I’m surprised they went for something even slightly daring for the Olympics, but I think it’s reasonably well executed.

The rest of them are too much everything and more ideas than should be on one garment at a time.

I dislike, intensely, the one they'll wear for the team final. I wish they were wearing the one that looks like fireworks since it's my fave, followed closely by the red one and the royal blue one Simone is wearing in the photos.

The team final one is sort of American Gladiators retro that I don't mind it. The only one I genuinely like is the "Star Spangled Shine" Suni is wearing, the rest are overwrought and exceedingly girly in a way I personally dislike...but I rarely appreciate gymnastic leotards.

I love how the women's leos are all Pairisian sparkly whickety-whack and for men the designers must have been like, "uh, IDK. Bird-shaped demon with conjunctivitis?"

I think it's important to note they got feedback from the gymnasts "in contention" before making the leos so even if it's not to your liking, presumably it is to theirs.

Men's demon eagle wins by a mile though caw caw red-eyed freedom
