18 year old girl was out with friends celebrating a birthday. They were all shot, she didn’t survive. She was going to go to university to be a nurse. A 10 year old child has also passed. The shooter was a 29 year old who , his parents say has lifelong mental issues.

This happened in a very popular area where lots of people are out and abour

It is sad when anyone dies but to kill people who had so much ahead of them is even worse. I hate seeing this in the US and it is especially distressing to read of this in Canada. I know the laws are much tougher.

This was so shocking. Everyone in the neighbourhood I talked too was shaken and scared. The victims were all so young! I pray for those still in hospital for their full recovery.

Am very familiar with the area (used to live in Toronto). What a sad and unnecessary loss of life.
