Yeah, I just looked. The title is a little misleading if you read it quick. "IOC allow figure skaters Stolbova and Bukin to participate in Olympics". But it is a petition.

But Alexei Yagudin is acting like a jerk, and not helping the situation, but making rude proclamations against IOC and WADA, given he is a public figure and his messages are read in figure skating world. (he just ruined all my pride in him for medal in 2002 and 2 great programmes and his good work as a commentator on skating shows, don't know who will hire him now... even in Russia..)

If both ice dance teams are out and go unreplaced, that's all chance of winning the team event gone. Yeah, their replacements wouldn't get the top scores and it would be harder, but is Russia really going to throw away their chance like that?

No, Bobrova/Soloviev are in as of now, nothing has been said about them.

Erokhov, Savosin, Danielyan, Murashov, Rukhin, Ignatov
Ladies:
Trusova, Kostornaia, Konstantinova, Gubanova, Panenkova, Vasilieva
Pairs:
Pavluchenko/Khodykin, Mishina/Gallyamov, Kostyukovich/Yalin, Boikova/Kozlovsky, Kvartalova/Svyatchenko, Akhantieva/Kolesov
Kostyukova/Yalin were only 11th after the short but had an excellent long program with quad twist
Ice Dance: Skoptsova/Alyoshin, Shevchenko/Eremenko, Ushakova/Nekrasov, Polishchuk/Vakhnov, Khudaberdieva/Nazarov, Konkina/Yakushev

Team for Junior Worlds hasn't been announced yet
 
 
The rumor on FSO is that Goncharenko went to Plushenko's school. I don't know how reliable the info is, we'll see...

time cures, and anything possible, but i do remember an on going verbal stand off in the press between Goncharenko and Pluschenko over the Sochi 2014 Team Event. Goncharenko was angry at Pluschenko for taking Kovtun's spot which prevented Kovtun from individual event. She also said on few occasions that Kovtun is more talented/gifted than Pluschenko, in a mild form to the press, and in a harsher form in private conversations..... and Plushenko commented back.

If they put it all behind then great! Plushy's school can use a trainer like Goncharenko, and name like Kovtun.

Please, who would have ever believed this? Kovtun's career has been like a forced ripe banana, all form and absolutely no substance.

I think that was a little buttle but they are not enemies. Plushy is always very respectful toward the olders and he is also admired in the Russian FS world. Plushy and Kovtun met with each other not once in the changing room and in other places. I have seen they shook hands.. . BTW we will see! ( Plus Voronov was the first reserve, not Kovtun) I would like to see Sergei in Plushenko Academy!

Great interview! Thanks so much for posting! I really enjoyed reading about Natalia's early days, the Olympic years with Artur, and her current life with her daughter. Natalia sounds like a really nice person and a good parent. Nice to know she is still on touch with Tamara and (to some extent) Artur.

I don't know if we will ever see sufficient proof to substantiate what TSL insinuated about Stolbova, but (if true) it would certainly explain a lot about them taking 2015 Worlds off. They were experiencing burn out that would also happen to Tuktamysheva the next season.
