Finlandia Trophy 2025 Rhythm Dance "I Really, Really, Really Wanna Zingas"

Wow the scoring has been quite odd across multiple disciplines since the first stop in angers ….is making it difficult to be a figure skating fan. I’m not even a big Uber of Diana and Gleb and that score is ridiculous. It’s becoming a downer to hear about level one, level, one, a Q, a Q, a Q, a UR but then when it comes to mone nothing lol. Anything positive to say about the programs judges, to keep fans interested? It’s like having a spouse that just nags at you lol.

And I still can’t get past the fact that Mone is not getting deducted for anything.

At the first Grand Prix in Angers even Ami had a short program score like near 80 without any triple axles or quads, which was a ridiculous score as well if I remember correctly.

OK what is Natalie crying about here? Do they skate to the wrong music that was played? Lol what’s happening now?

Come on guys, we never noticed that was not the supposed edit/version! for me it was the same that at NHK

Better than CoC - one of the few L2 calls for the pattern step element. Let's see if that TES holds.

Olivia Smart/Tim Dieck 🇪🇸
Coach: R. Haguenauer, M.F. Dubreuil, P. Lauzon
Music: Freedom, Let Me Entertain You

Sequential Twizzles W:2 M:4 (W:3 M:3 after review)
Pattern Dance Type Step Sequence 2
Midline Step Sequence W:1 M:1
Curve Lift 4
Choreo Rhythm Sequence

They re-worked the pattern dance sequence to address the knee-slide fall that Olivia had in China. Nice performance level throughout, but still another team that is receiving low levels in the steps, and twizzles.

76.07 = 2nd Place

If I closed the eyes and treated this program just as a soundtrack, in which Michael Jackson for some reason sings "Freedom", I could somewhat appreciate the 90ies representation.

Didn't like anything that went on the ice from the "Spaniards".

Partial step level 2, twizzles level 2 for Olivia

TES was a bit lower than French but if twizzles were level 4 then the spanish would have better technical score

They looked better than at China

I still have to check several times when I see this new version of Tim Dirk....props to him for stepping up .
