Olympic bronze medalist Jason Brown stops by the Rink at Rockefeller Center to talk about preparing for the 2018 Games in Pyeongchang, South Korea. He tells Tamron Hall and TODAY’s Take guest host Andy Grammer that he’ll skate to “Wait for It” from the Broadway hit “Hamilton” at the Games, and conducts a quick skating lesson.
This clip doesn't include his performance to "Wait for It."

Valentine's Day in Korea: https://twitter.com/jasonbskates/status/831501360755417088

"L-O-V-E" video filmed on the bus, led by Jason and also featuring the 3 USA pair teams (both links cross-posted in the U.S. Pairs thread in GSD): https://twitter.com/jasonbskates/status/831493568204124164

Lynn Rutherford's 4CC preview for IN includes a first-hand update from Jason before he left for Korea: http://web.icenetwork.com/news/2017/02/14/215961158
"I've been out of my walking boot now for a week, which is a huge step in the right direction," Brown said. "The leg is getting stronger again."
...
In recent days, Brown has resumed training his quads, and plans to show his quad toe loop in Gangneung.
"It's definitely something I want to be doing at Four Continents," he said. "I have the mindset to do it. I want to go to Four Continents with a more difficult program than I had in Kansas City, one step closer to what I want to be putting out at worlds."

U. S. Figure Skating is celebrating St. Patrick's Day with a Twitter link to Jason's Riverdance Nationals performance, and it's commentary free!

Watch @jasonbskates' full Riverdance FS from 2014 here: http://usfigu.re/2nN6y5f

Thanks so much. Joyous memories of an iconic performance!

I enjoy the Scott-commentary version too, as @el henry mentions. :D

The non-commentary version is wonderful to see too in honor of St. Patrick's Day. Three years flew by like nothing. This program is timeless and will remain so. This particular version (probably from IceNetwork) is refreshing too because of the different camera angles, and being able to listen in on Kori's conversation with Jason in the kiss 'n cry.

At Helsinki Worlds: Go Jason! :cheer2:

Audio of Jason's media teleconference call on Wednesday: http://web.icenetwork.com/video/topic/220125674/v1245556883

Lynn Rutherford tweeted yesterday:
Call: [Jason] said quad toe going well, but main focus for #helsinki2017 is to "do what I can do well, with confidence & GOEs."

"Focus is on doing what I can do to the best of my ability, to help get that 3rd (U.S. Olympic) spot."
He's taping an episode of IN's IceTalk podcast today: https://twitter.com/icenetwork/status/844955806252630017

^^^ Cute! I'm guessing the photo could have been taken when they competed together in Juvenile at 2007 "Junior" Nationals in late 2006 - Jason won the gold (age 12) and Nathan placed 10th (age 7) - final round results: http://www.usfsa.org/eventrelatedde...tent/events/200607/usjunior/juvboys-final.htm

(OR that photo could have been taken at 2008 "Junior" Nationals in late 2007 when Jason won silver in Intermediate and Nathan bronze in Juvenile?)
I'm almost certain this is from 2007. Jason really took a very young Nathan under his wing at that time...accompanying him to the party for the skaters after the event.

That would mean Jason was twelve in that picture? He looks so much younger - but it would explain the detached amusement on his face!

Jason tweeted an adorable picture of himself and Nathan Chen back when they were young boy skaters:

OMGGGGGG That is BEYYYYYONNNDDDDDD adorable......

How in the world can a male be that flexible??? That is Sasha Cohen territory...I know, I know ... the ballet... but at THAT age??

I mean... all I was doing that age was watching Wonder Woman sitting on the floor maybe one foot across the other. LOL....

Doug Mattis (who is subbing for Kori and Rohene at 7k while they are in Helsinki) has instagrammed his support of Jason, with editorializing that I tend to agree with;)

https://www.instagram.com/p/BSAlNOjh...-by=sk8rmattis
under a photo of Dice, he posts
"#DaisukeTakahashi says....
"Right this way, gentlemen. Time to quad-a-rama, trying to make skating fans forget how my performances made audiences FEEL."
#GoodLuckWithThat
#helsinkiworlds2017
#WhatIfQuadsWereBanned
#TheGuyThatWouldWin
#IsDaShizzle
#GiveMeBothPlease
#quads&quality"

Kori Ade responded

"We got the "feel" part covered @jasonbskates and thx for coming to see and support our magic @skate7k ... @sk8coachirok"

and Doug replied:

"Yes, you do, @sk8coachirok !! One of the most beautiful programs I've ever seen. Truly. I'll keep the fires warm at home for ya! ❤ Best of luck!"
