U.S. Ice Dance is doing great right now in both seniors and juniors.

Oh, I misunderstood. I thought you meant USFS needs them in competitive skating. Yeah, USFS can definitely use D/W to help continue promoting ice dance. We all know ice dance needs all the help it can get on that front.

Nice that they are planning an event for San Jose during Nats. Sounds like fun, except that if they follow the sched posted for NYC, the event will be taking place during all the Sat event finals. Maybe they'll hold it in the park next to the arena so we can run out between events.

This show is amazing with the characters they get to play amid a glorious backdrop. I wish we had gotten a Greek/Roman legend competitive program from them. This is going to be so much fun to watch when the TV version shows up.

I liked the Orpheus and Euridice number more. Not sure what the designer was doing with Charlie's Eros getup. The gold wings are cool though.

My goodness, that Orpheus and Eurydice...how much practice did that take with the red scarf? Amazing! I'm always impressed with ice dancers that use props because it's like a third person out there! You don't see it as much but I'm thinking of some older programs...Klimova/Pomenarenko doing the ballet barre, Blumberg/Seibert with the fan doing Madame Butterfly, Torvill and Dean's Hat Trick.

Loved seeing something so different from Meryl and Charlie...just gorgeous!
