That was cute! It's smart of Charlie and Tanith to decide who takes the lead for a program, though. Didn't Meryl let it slip that when they did the choreo for their D/W B/A foursome a couple of years ago, Chanith butted heads a lot while she and Ben stood back and giggled ? Live and learn.

I don't seem to recall that. They have done choreography together for a few skaters post Sochi, so they have probably found what works best for them. Tanith was listed as Angela Wang's choreographer for this program so I'm sure that also has something to do with it. IIRC, they did mention that they can't skate together as they both try to lead...something to that effect.

I'm cracking up that they both made a point of tweeting that she'd be on tv, but neither of them is saying a word about the elephant in the room.

I am watching a taped episode of diving now. I thought I had missed an announcement....lol....glad to see that I hadn't!

I watched the diving too and looked for an announcement. If you google " Tanith White baby" a listing for a ( not saying it's her) Tannith White and Charlie White have a registry at a few places. It lists a due date as Oct. 3rd and says it's a BOY! Keep it mind their may be another couple with the same name.

Welcome to FSU, Miintx! I've seen lots of different suggestions for the due date. It'll be a treat to see the little muffin whenever it arrives. Chanith have been mighty low-key so far, but I bet Jacqui won't be able to contain herself once she gets that baby near a camera.

I watched the diving and thought it was funny how the camera operator was clearly trying so hard to shoot her from the shoulders up. I've been wondering about a baby from them for a while.

Now that Chanith are choreographing with I'm guessing less shows in the future. What is Meryl doing (I know about Figure Skating in Detroit and planning the wedding) ?

I don't think they plan to slow down yet. Meryl just posted a nice photo and comment about starting back shows again and being excited and grateful they still get to skate together. Maybe next year when there are new Olympic medalists who will be in more demand.

In the meantime they're both working on finishing their degrees, and they've said they hope to get invited to Pyeongchang so maybe more commentary/interview gigs during the GP series and Nationals. Commitments with VISA and Airweave as Olympic promo ramps up. I think Meryl's always working at trying to pick up new sponsors. LOTF maybe. Probably Classroom Champs.

Tanith and Charlie (but mainly Tanith) did Angela Wang's LP?! OMG that is SO cool! I really dig what they're going for in that program and I'm also loving Tanith's commentary with Ben. What a nice turnaround - I rather love Tanith Belbin and I'm proud to say it!!

I hope they continue doing choreography and keep evolving their craft. They are doing such a great job in their post-skating careers. it's the twilight zone and now I finally get it, they are both amazing.
