I've been thinking about "what a wonderful world" as a tribute to the many opportunities that are coming Meryl and Charlie's way from around the world and because after 18 years in the ice rink they are discovering the great big wonderful world outside it.
We came for the Olympic figure skating, we stayed for the dog pics. Meryl and Charlie enchant us even when they're not around, so say something more!

Classroom champions: Goal setting. I get a kick from how much they enjoy doing these videos.

Wow, the organization really has expanded, there are 30+ athletes now. Such a terrific program.
I noticed earlier on the Classroom Champions site that they now have College Champions as a new program. It is wonderful to see the program expand and really nice to see D/W still doing it every year.

Still here after all these years...just wanted to share how much I loved watching the "say something" vid of them from LOTF. Wow, just wow. I'm amazed at how incredible they are, on ice or off. To be their fan all these years has been beyond wonderful and to see what they've become together is well, just beyond my expectation. It's just such a sweet, sweet feeling and I wish them both more amazing things. I could never thank them enough for the pleasure of their skating programs and it was great watching them achieve their success through the years. I know I'm not here often but I am still around and still loving Meryl and Charlie! Living life even if I don't tap dance anymore.

Meryl and Fedor attending a friend's wedding this weekend in Maryland:

I didn't realize this until I watched the news tonight ;), but turns out, the bride is the (step)daughter of our governor: https://www.washingtonpost.com/loca...b78bde-7b8a-11e6-bd86-b7bbd53d2b5d_story.html

They both went to the U of Michigan and the article says they still live in MI. From the pics I've seen, looks like it was a beautiful wedding. :)

ETA: A pic of Meryl and Fedor, with the bride and groom, from Governor Hogan's FB page (takes a few secs to load): https://www.facebook.com/larryhogan...931509251615/1280445285333567/?type=3&theater

And in Love On The Floor news: Nico Greetham, who danced with Meryl in the Pillow Talk segment, has landed the role of the Yellow Ranger in the new Power Ranger series. And Jaymz Tuaileva, who danced with Cheryl Burke and Charlie in the Breathe Me segment, is currently dancing with Nastia Luikin and Shawn Johnson in their gymnastic's tour. Congrats to them!

Missing the amazingly inspirational cast of #loveonthefloor. Thanks for pushing us to grow as athletes & as artists!
Cheryl Burke ‏@CherylBurke
Miss you too! It was a pleasure working with you and hope this is just the beginning of our #LOTF journey.
I like the sound of that! (And the look of it, too!)

Disson has canceled the Skating and Gymnastics show because of "unforeseen circumstances." Wonder what that means? I do hope the others will still go on.

Probably had something to do w/ not being able to coordinate gymnast schedules. It's a shame though because FINALLY Disson booked a fabulous guest artist. But at the same time the skating lineup left a lot to be desired:scream:

What, you weren't a fan of the Fresh Beat Band??

I understand if the gymnasts had better offers this year - this is really an odd little show. But I adored the cracky outfits they always came up with and the behind the scenes shenanigans between the skaters & gymnasts. Now when will poor Simone Biles ever learn how to skate?

Nice! "We practiced until we couldn't not get things right." I like that.

There's also a blurb about their Bollywood costumes on display at the National Museum of Dance (pg 6). I still go back and watch that program.
