Australia still sitting pretty at the top

Today includes a bit of scheduling insanity in the T20, with the England vs India semi-final scheduled first and the Australia vs New Zealand final scheduled second. However, this means that the semi between Australia and New Zealand is at a completely unsociable hour for viewers in those countries, whereas the semi between England and India could be comfortably watched by viewers in each country in the second slot.

That men’s 1500m was epic to watch! Ollie Hoare outkicked Cheruiyot for !!!!!! Also great job for Jake Wightman for after winning that shock world title just a couple of weeks ago.

And a big surprise in the first semi-final, with India beating England! The second semi-final, while tight, produced the expected result, so the T20 final will be between India and Australia - always a guaranteed hit!

Peter Bol should be the heavy favorite to win the 800m final tomorrow. He narrowly missed the Tokyo podium and had a disappointing Worlds a couple of weeks ago in Eugene.

The women’s 1500m final should be interesting to watch.
