Thank you. I really don't know how that SS organization works so not having enough people to work the cases makes it clearer to understand.
I'm sure staffing is an issue too because they have stressed that as an issue but often the public won't see actions that have been taken because of the nature of a proper investigation. It can look like nothing is being done but there is plenty going on behind the scenes. I worked on a fraud case once and there were a lot of privacy issues that had to be considered as well as legal before anything could be made public or reported.

Because they are not a true enforcement agency. These kind of investigation should be done by trained a law enforcement officials. I’m fortunate we are doing is allowing this bizarre organization to do them.
If you look at the jobs posted they have to have the proper licenses and certifications to be investigators. It's not like they are a bunch of amateurs pretending at spy games.
