So frustrating that they keep coming so close to that 80!! I do wonder if it was partly down to skating order - were they holding back in case there was a disaster with the top 2? Who knows but I think they did a really good job here. I like LaLa (although don’t love their RD this year) but I think they looked a bit shaky today and I do think that the gap between them could’ve been smaller.

Hey. Why were their scores so low? What makes L/L all that? Am I missing something?
they skated well but definitely had a nervous energy about them today - not the same level of abandon that they managed at nationals.

Christina also stumbled on the choreo spin - her boot caught Anthony's going into the final part of it. It was well saved, but they received a ! on the element - leading to a GOE of 0.06 on that element. Had they got their usual GOE on it, they'd been in the 120s and beat LaLa enough to get a small bronze.

I think it was their shakiest performance of it yet but their new approach - particularly mental - meant that it wasn't detrimental at all. Yes, their score was impacted but they had a not totally great skate and skill scored over 117. I think it's a great achievement and hopefully means that they've got that energy out before Worlds (and a meh RD at nationals led to a totally confident one here).

All that aside, I do feel like LaLa are just that little bit ahead career wise in that they don't pay as high a fine for costly errors, I'm still surprised they had the lead over them in the FD if I'm being honest.

That stumble went by so fast I barely noticed it in the moment -- had to go back and rewatch. They both did a great job thinking on their feet -- Anthony for catching her and Christina for quickly getting back into it and finishing on the music.

What pin on his jacket was Anthony pointing at in the K&C?

I’m pretty sure that’s the Legacy on Ice logo pin for the upcoming event. Nice for him to pay small tribute to everyone lost.

They look so, so good. Speed is probably about the same as g/p in this group, and their ice coverage is really good. Plus they are always chatting and laughing which is adorable. Definitely think they look better in person!

I spent the final two groups gasping in shock, but C/P did fabulously! Their best performance of this program imo, finally breaking 80(and decisively) and top 6! If they deliver a great FD tomorrow and maintain their placement they'll be seeded for the GP and get some prize money.

THEY WERE SO GOOD!!!! The energy! The sharpness! The ice coverage! The speed! They were acting and having a great time and looked amazinggggggggggg!!!!

It was so cute after they were introduced and ran out, they waited at the end closest to me while the other teams were introduced. They were very focused on each other, and Anthony kept talking while Christina was shaking her head. But they both looked very happy and that continued throughout their performance. So happy they got a great score!!

Can you please tell me what their message to the audience was?

Oh wow what a worlds!!! What a season!! So proud of them and so excited for what’s next.

Kind of wish they’d been given the FD lead over S/D because they’d be looking at a small bronze if they had.

Being seeded surely means a trip to Skate America?
I'd think the USFS will give them SkAm, for sure.
