I just got an email from my friend confirming he was indeed the guy in the first part of the video, when they were talking about Christopher Bowman. This is not a close friend, more of an acquaintance, and I haven’t seen him in awhile so that’s why I was not positive it was him. He claimed he couldn’t see Brian’s face and that’s why he didn’t know it was him.

No surprises that Hersh is as much of a grump in person as he is with his reporting. When 'Pete' mentioned how handsome Brian was, I thought, Phil is going to realise. Alas, no...

At least he admitted he was tricked, which is something.
