Another strong skate in this flight. The jumps were pretty good, but the program was lacking.

Gem is showing an ad for Dragon's Den Canada. Looks like the judges would approve a product involving lots of Botox and lip filler.

This entire event is good enough reason to get rid of q. Q is exactly. Exactly 90 degrees short. Not 89, not 91. Yet 95% of the "short" jumps are landed exactly 90 degrees short, and we hear that panels "only have one camera so it's too hard to tell" every season. So what is it, you can see exactly 90 degrees or you can't tell so you're just throwing out this phony symbol? :wall:
Now the q just seems to be saying "eh, we can't really tell so we'll assume that jump was somehow dubious"

I mean, she specifically said her goal was to be memorable, so I don't know that she would agree.
Overlooked beforehand but memorable AFTER skating ;)

Iida has some absolutely beautiful qualities and has skated well, but no way that should be up there with Lara or Julia.
TES is falling but is still. above Julia's.

I'm actually okay with a way for the tech panel to tellskaters they are pushing the edge of a rotation call but not if it impacts the score. Either the jump is rotated enough or it's not.
