Naumov: lovely, not perfect but he can definitely feel proud of that.
-Torgy: really glad he landed shit and made it to the LP.
-Kevin: so happy for him. I like this program but I don’t think I saw it much last season. Love his aerial near the end, I dunno why. Maybe because everyone else does cartwheels or one armed cartwheels. Maybe because I have fond memories of the few months I could do one in my decades-ago gymnastics day. (Had, lost, never got back) and no, I don’t care about ilia’s raspberry twist.
-Lukas, shoot he blew it. Still the cutest broccoli top on the block.
-adam: I was initially confused by his pale lavender glove. Thought gosh he must have terrible circulation? Good job. He certainly does “gnashing of teeth” well.
-Love Cha, beautiful basics and I like the floaty bits on his blouse.
-Sato, dependably well done.
-Ilia needs to stop doing back crosscuts into his 3a. He ends up slow and his 3a does not cover much distance. Challenging entry does not make up for the meh 3a. Also his costume still features baby-poop brown pants please make it stop.
-Yuma is still awesome with some of the (the?) best skating skills in the business. Bummed about the stumble.

I would be okay with these these three as a podium. Just keep Grassl off it!!!

Was really loving Cha to death, my favorite by a mile, until Kagiyama skated, and even with the bobble, I'm calling it a tie. With Marsak next on the list.

It certainly doesn't hurt that Cha brings enough pretty for an entire boy band.

Double-posting a few hours later:

Four of the top five finishers at the JGP in Richmond, BC are in the Men's FS: Gummenik, Siao Him Fa, Kagiyama, and Gogolev. All four are in the Top 12.

A fifth man, Nikolaj Majorov, made the FD from the alternates list in his new discipline; he was 9th there.

We did get to see the future.
