2026 Europeans - Men Short Program - Manarchy In The UK

David Sedej 🇸🇮
Coach: Katarina Burja
Music: Asturias, Carmen

2Lz+3T
2A
Flying Change Foot Camel Spin 2 - loss of speed
2F!* - invalid element
Change Foot Sit Spin 4 - loss of speed
Step Sequence 2
Change Foot Combo Spin 2

Performance was a bit rough, and uneven. Looks undertrained based on the lack of precision in the spins.

Hi everyone
Here we are .... back for another full day of skating. I missed the first skater and, apparently, we've had some withdrawals, but still lots of men to thrill us (hopefully). I always start out with such high hopes.

Kessler
what a first group!
Another highlight skater

this glide!!! :swoon:

3z3toe
1loop

best spread eagle into 2axel

I think he has the softest glide of ALL the men competing here

if only for the loop....

still a wonderful skate!!

Jari Kessler 🇭🇷
Coach: Angelina Turenko, Alisa Mikonsaari
Music: Clair de Lune by Claude Debussy

3Lz+3T
1Lo* - invalid element
Flying Sit Spin 3
2A
Step Sequence
3 (2 after review)
Change Foot Camel Spin 4

Change Foot Combo Spin 4

I always get sucked in by Jari's skating, and hope maybe this time he'll do a clean program, but alas . . .

Q 66.32 = 2nd Place

Beautiful skating from Kessler. Better than some of the men who will finish top 10 here and in Milan.

Another program that has more attention to line and choreography than most of what you’ll see later. Love him.

Can White Crow be considered a warhorse yet? :shuffle:

Zlatkov is another one with beautiful movement and glide.

Zlatkov
1axel
nice use of the music
3z3toe, well done, the landing of the lutz was not optimal but waited patiently to regain balance
3loop nice
someone who really uses the music and skates to the beat of it! :respec:

I think so far I enjoyed this first group of men (minus skater No.2 ) more than all of the ladies with the exception of Nina and Niina

Alexander Zlatkov 🇧🇬
Coach: Daniela Velichkova
Music: Nureyev by Ilan Eshkeri

1A* - invalid element
3Lz+3T
Change Foot Camel Spin 2
3Lo
Step Sequence 1

Change Foot Combo Spin 1 (BV after review)
Flying Sit Spin 2 (no value after review)

Hard to know what to make of this program. A pop, and very low levels for the non-jump elements, but also a couple of nice jump elements.

50.90 = 3rd Place

More Ninas with different amount of i-s!
:mitchell:

Reshtenko is gonna look wildly out of place in this group and not in a good way.

‘I did everything better than the 5th place skater’

Oh, that's a lovely 4s from Reshtenko.
A bit limited in his arms position vocabulary, I must say.
Saved the 3a.
Ok, I think this one is through.

And here we got our leader for the upcoming 3 to 4 hours.
Although with the mandatory first group PCS deduction, it might be slightly less.

Georgii RESHTENKO
4sal - a bit telegraphed but beautifully done
3axel, slight wobble
wow 4toe3toe - he means business :respec:

I did not expect such a skate in the first group - the TES might lead for a long while

what a first group that was!!

Georgii Reshtenko 🇨🇿
Coach: Michal Brezina, Adam Solya, Rafael Arutiunian
Music: Scratch, Shadow Hunter, Moriarity

4S
3A - over-rotated slightly, poor landing
Change Foot Combo Spin 2 (1V after review)
4T+3T

Change Foot Camel Spin 3
Step Sequence 2
Flying Sit Spin 3

The quadruple jumps were good, but everything else was lacking.

Q 78.62 = 1st Place

Georgii

What a program for the first group:cheer:

Michal is his coach? Somehow that explains a lot :)
