2025 U.S. Sectional Singles & Pairs/Ice Dance Finals - Ogden UT; Norwood MA; Plano TX

Fun fact: Max Lake first competed at Nats in 2014, in Juv Boys, along with Jeffrey Chen, Joonsoo Kim, and Ryan Dunk, and others who also competed through the higher levels and collegiate. :)
Annabelle Morozov also competed in Juvenile girls that year, my how time flies!

I don't understand Tomoki's SP at all. This feels like a Jimmy Ma program, really, lol.

Tomoki should easily win this comp, but unless he does more than stroking from end to end in between the tech elements, I don't see him in medal contention at Nats.

Joseph Klein and Lucas Broussard could be brothers. Joseph is the older, slightly shorter & more muscular one.

There is a case for Klein to be first, despite the stumble on 3A. Everything else looks as good as the other two guys leading

eta: I guess comes down to rotation on 3A but the other guys probably should have carrots too

Strommer was very very patient on that combo, riding a kind of deep and swingy curve out of the first jump really perfectly to get a secure second jump

Not as lucky with the solo jump

Oh, Beck... This is an unfortunate costume. Either go fully sleeveless or use solid fabric. This sheer black sleeve fabric is a costume design fail.

Strommer

3z-3t (ETA per Sylvia’s post below), 2a, 3f<< landed forward

Awww, Natalie Mishkutenok coached Amber Barth in Dallas as a young skater for years (before she moved to Colorado Springs to coach) - they shared a hug before she started her program.

ETA: Natalia M. coached Amber at the NAC (novice international invitsyionsl) competition at Wild Rose in Edmonton(?) in August 2019.

Props to Barth for picking something fun like "Telephone" to skate too to start off 20 ladiezzzz programs. Nice 3S/2T to start. 3Z fall. 2A (q?)

I hate to criticize at sectionals , but I swear I thought that the Shyea Riviera had cut her forehead but now I think it’s part of the costume. whatever she’s wearing on her head is distracting

OK, maybe it’s just a hair color. I’m really curious now.

Shaye Rivera - "Somewhere (The Voice Performance)" by Alisan Porter.

ETA - Logan's SP music from her ISU bio:

Jyn Erso and Hope Suite (Rogue One: A Star Wars Story soundtrack) by Tim Simonec, Michael Giacchino
Guardians of the Whills Suite (Rogue One: A Star Wars Story soundtrack) by Tim Simonec, Michael Giacchino
