Saturday night most likely won't be shown on NBC. For the past (5?) years, NBC has shown the women's FS on Friday night and the men's FS on Sunday afternoon, depending on the football playoff schedule. They might show either men or dance Saturday afternoon.

I guess I just remember the "good old days" (decade+) of the ladies FS on Saturday night, both ABC and later NBC.

Pairs getting the prime Saturday evening slot??? That is both 😂 and 😭. In terms of NBC broadcasting and hype for the '26 Olympics, it seems like dance would have been a more obvious choice.
Why have they done away with the Ladies being in prime time on Saturday? Just idiotic that the women's event is the first one to be finished on a Friday night since it draws more people by far then Pairs or Ice Dance or even the Men especially since it won't even be a contest with Ilia walking away with another title.

It also is going to draw better on a Friday night than it will against an NFL playoff on Saturday night.

Kaitlin Hawayek was in Wichita on Oct. 5 to conduct a Learn To Skate clinic ahead of Nationals: https://www.instagram.com/p/DAkLYxqxVYl/
From the U.S. Ice Dance news thread:
Kaitlin Hawayek posted on her IG that she is in Wichita to promote Nats (sounds like she is teaching a skating clinic tomorrow on behalf of USFS) and said she plans to be at Nats to cheer on the skaters.

Danny O’Shea and Ashley Cain were in Dallas this past weekend for USFS’ LTS SkateFest event to help promote Skate America in Allen:

If you mean what plays after the video linked, it’s not that which is being referred to. It’s the final few seconds of the video from yesterday’s practice, which is timestamped to when you open it. That won’t change.

Sylvia, I cannot find anyplace to put the code when purchasing. Has anyone figured it out? Who is the person in the LOC one can email about ticket issues? Thank you!
I’m only trying on my phone but I see there’s a code section for the all-event (non-junior), but SKATEAM doesn’t do anything 🤷🏼‍♂️

FWIW, I now have discovered that after the SKATEAM code is entered for a single-session ticket, a discounted price does show up.

I am not Sylvia ;), but a person from USFS headquarters who previously has been helpful in answering questions about 2025 Nats ticket sales is Robert Stabenau. [email protected]

Just a note.. the ad video appears to change. It was for Boston World's when I viewed it (no discount :) )

What I had linked to above was archived streaming of Thursday's Skate America practice for men (which now has expired).
Video content at the end was in the following order: (1) host Jean-Luc Baker signing off from the practice; (2) promo for 2025 Nationals; (3) promo for Boston Worlds.
The part that was the promo for Nationals began with a montage that included footage and voiceovers from 2024 Nationals and ended with the graphic for the flash sale for 2025 Nats tickets, including the QR code.
The time-stamp for the link in my post was for the graphic for the flash sale for 2025 Nats tickets.

I just looked at the archived streaming of the dance practice from today (Friday), and it also has the promo for 2025 Nationals, including the graphic for the flash sale for tickets.
Same order at the end: (1) Jean-Luc signing off from practice; (2) promo for 2025 Nats; (3) promo for Boston Worlds.
Time-stamped link to the graphic for the flash sale for 2025 Nats tickets:
If someone does not find the the time-stamped link helpful, it still should be easy enough to find the graphic (if still desired at this point?) at the end of the promo for 2025 Nats -- which immediately PRECEDES the promo for Boston Worlds.

Is the ticket website for all-event tickets just down completely? I am getting access denied.

FWIW, seems to be working OK for me?

Section 103 seats are proprietary and those “owners” have a couple of months to hold onto them before they have to purchase for this event or give them up.

Just received USFS e-mail today about the sale open to the general public, which starts tomorrow.
(Because I had signed up on visitwichita page for Nats updates.)

Excerpts from the e-mail:

" Please see the seating map below. The kiss and cry will be in front of section 122/123, and the officials stand will be in section 116. Seats in section 103 are not currently available for purchase. "

https://info.usfigureskating.org/hs-fs/hubfs/US Figure Skating_Final_V2.jpg

BTW: Some of us had been discussing back in May that Section 103 was not available at that time.
Perhaps very old news as of now, but club seats in 103 are available at present for All-Session tickets with Junior add-on (but not for All-Session tickets without Junior?). Also available for Weekend Passes and for Single Session tickets.

Of all 18 skaters, the only one I don’t know anything about is Bonillo, what could you tell us about her? Otherwise I know everybody else.

I have seen posts in random threads that tickets sales aren’t great for the event but usfsa just sent out a message they are increasing prices soon? What is the thought process behind this? Will the tickets look more luxurious so people will want the status symbol of attending the event? Drop the prices and the pack the event. If people that bought tickets at the higher prices are upset offer them an exclusive lanyard or program. I wouldn’t even care about a price drop. I don’t want to attend any empty event. Part of going to a live event is the excitement of the crowd.

Two reasons. One they hope that it will force people to buy who are on the fence right now. And two if they raise prices, then they can give you a discount and still get the same amount of money.😂

While there seems to be plenty of seat options available for Nationals, hotel options is another story. Affordable hotels seem to be booked in the downtown area. I feel like I am late to the party😩

Did you try the official hotels that were sent out? The blocks were like $150 a night which isn’t horrible.

Colored schedule has been released! There have been some dumb scheduling ideas in the past, but separating the final group of the free dance from the first two groups might be the dumbest.

NBC coverage is scheduled to begin at 2:30 pm ET on Saturday, so I think the idea must be to show final group of Senior Men SP, scheduled to end at 3:22 pm ET/2:22 pm CT, followed by final group of Senior FD, scheduled to begin at 3:37 pm ET/2:37 pm CT?
But I don't like separating the final group of FD.

Did you try the official hotels that were sent out? The blocks were like $150 a night which isn’t horrible.

I think the problem is that for later half of Nats week, the desirable rates are sold out.

ETA: But I just checked out of curiosity, and Drury block seems to have availability?

I have seen posts in random threads that tickets sales aren’t great for the event but usfsa just sent out a message they are increasing prices soon? What is the thought process behind this? ...

Not an explanation, but the price increase on Dec 1 already was planned/announced when single-session tickets went on sale in September.
Just sayin' that the increase is not a response to how single-session ticket sales have been going (and I am not aware one way or the other as to how LOC thinks that they have been going?).

For those who have access to FSU's Archives, I just bumped up a 2011 thread in which people can feel free to vent ;) ETA for reference purposes only (we're NOT supposed to post in it, says admin. Prancer on the next page): https://www.fsuniverse.net/forum/th...ls-in-canada-the-us.81278/page-3#post-6696107

From my first post in that thread: "U.S. Nationals first started doing this in 2008 when the Senior Ladies FS was split into a morning session and a later session for NBC's live primetime coverage..."
