This was really good! Aside from when they won Worlds, their best skate in terms of quality of elements, of performance. The transitions here were so smooth, everything felt like it flowed easily from one element to the next. I never felt like they were straining. Much better skate than I expected, so awesome!

Maybe it's the massive glitches but I still like this program a lot for them. At first I thought the music didn't pick up enough but this time with a more energized audience it was quite good. Yes, there needs to be more choreography but so much better than last year.

So much better than in France, and you could really feel the passion in the performance build. Deanna nearly knocked Maxime over as they got into their final position she was feeling it so much.

140.37 = 1st Place

SDDes - 3tw - looked like a 4tw the way Peacock is glitching, lol; SBS 33+2a+2a - seems like they both stayed up; first lift - really nice; SBS 3s - she doubled; FODS - these need to be banned more than the Axel sequences, at least the ugly catch foot/leg grab needs to not get any extra GOE or levels; combo spin - fine; throw 3lo - decent; choreo seq - fine; throw 3s - good; second lift - nice; last lift - good; ended a bit behind the music.

Well, the program isn't terrible when it's clean or mostly clean, but the music still kind of just ends rather abruptly and doesn't build sufficiently well, IMO.

Better than in France, but I think Deanna and Max peaked as vampires. The jumps are miles apart and not really well timed. The choreography isn't the most complex, and their transitions out of the lifts a bit shaggy.

Agree with all of this! This is probably my second favorite free of theirs. Has great potential when done clean and with more mileage. Definitely rewatching this later back at the hotel!

They are in tough to fight for the podium in Milan and need to be smooth and squeaky clean.

That was a good skate for Deanna and Max. Yes, she doubled a jump but, overall, I think they should be pleased. KMT saying Max bent his arm on the lift and got base level. Shame.
