2025 Cup of China Men's Free PBP - The Biffed Element

4Lutz looked fine (prerotation aside because that ain't ever getting called)
4Loop looked decent actually, better to do it on that straight line I think
4Sal MAYBE a q ---> [edit: called <]
3Axel+3Toe alright, again the 3T prerotation
3Axel+2Axel+2Axel - I'd review the 3A
3Lutz under+3Toe definitely under
3Loop

He's gonna win this event, and probably get the highest PCS too. No choreography throughout the first 2 minutes or so, just back and forth down the ice for the three quads and the Axel combo. And the choreo sequence that finally broke it up was lame.

That's probably as good as Daniel can skate, and the program is still vacant, and the jump rotations are still questionable.

Okay, I know a lot of you don't like Grassl but that was a very good skate. I liked most everything about it. The music and, of course, the tech elements. And, a bit surprisingly for me, I thought his presentation was up a level or 2 from what I've seen in the past. Very happy for him.

The gentle almost barely needing to toe pick but somehow rotating the jumps is just the exact opposite of Grassl contorting and slamming that toe pick in any which direction. And the GOE SHOULD reflect, regardless if Sato's jumps are smallish.

Comparing the GOE the gave Grassl to what they're giving Shun, it's just ridiculous. Shun is being low-balled so hard.

Sato is a very consistent Jumper, and of these final few skaters he's the most artistic, and with the nicest skating skills.
