His Conclave program is obviously about how he paid indulgences to the Vatican to ensure the judges don't downgrade his jumps.

I think Grassl is really improving his artistry, his arms are very balletic. It’s such a shame his basic skating still impact visually his jumps, he does such an ugly kickback on his toe jumps. I do think he is improving though -!; working on his 2nd mark. Must be tough with his tics.

Some nice qualities to Jacob's skating, but a little cautious into the jumps. The combination was shaky on the first part, and then the error compounded into the second jump resulting in a fall.

72.40 = 5th Place

Lovely 3A for Sanchez but falling on the combo will really hurt.

I loved that from Jacob, but the music choice is a miss. He uses it as pretty romantic music when it's full of desperate melancholy that he completely ignores or doesn't understand.

Jacob will be podium bound as a senior if he can continue to increase the difficulty and gain some consistency. He really has it all.

Mess of an SP aside, Cha's choosing this music when a competitor used it in an iconic short program just a year ago... it invites comparisons and this choreography simply pales in comparison. The step sequence just made me wish I was watching Kagiyama instead.

That was a bit of a disaster short program for Cha, and it was hard to evaluate the program with the errors, and the loss of timing on the music that resulted.

Deniss' genie-spin (that doesn't look so much like a genie with the shorter hair) is still jaw-dropping. Shame about the jump problems. I do love him though. And, I actually liked the music choice.
