2025 Cup of China Men's Free PBP - The Biffed Element

Starting to get tight, Lutz and flip both looked short, first Axel was a bit short, I think the second 4T was really well-done though and this isn't all that bad as a whole.

Still think if a panel hits review on most things like they have done in the past, they are going to find plenty to mark down.

Quite possibly the most mismatched programs time and time again in the history of the sport. He's looking AT THE ICE, going as slow as he can into the jumps, and giving absolutely nothing between the elements.

I'm sure the PCS will find a way to push 80 but good grief. I am absolutely sure there are pre-juvenile skaters with stronger basics and better programs.

And he cannot hold an edge EVER. His choreo sequence was clumsy, he attempt at twizzles or brackets or any other edgework in the step sequence is always ROUGH.

Absolutely LOVED Boyang's music. In the first half, he was stalking the jumps and they weren't coming easily for him but he did the best he could today. The audience loves him and so do I.

Messy skating, and a random ballad for the program do not make for a good combination. Cue reign of the stuffed toys.

Interesting little hiccup where the three turn into the 4T left him a little stuck and he had to basically reset. At one point I'm sure that would have been considered the attempt since the entry prep was there, who knows now. Everything else is legal so I'm sure that flub didn't mean anything.

AND HE DID IT AGAIN on the Lutz prep. :wall: :wall: :wall:

Completely falling apart now. Sigh. I'd rather see him on the podium than most of these guys.
