I believe they´ve posted before that both of their programs are choreographed also by Dmitry Chaplin from DWTS.

I fear this is the first of like thousand Vogue programs we are going to have next season

or maybe if skaters find just on time that someone else have chosen then they will re-think their rhythm dance music

I don't want to get a compulsory in disguise

 I thought you were just crying about overused music? I'd consider the "Godfather" soundtrack (especially "Speak Softly Love") to be warhorse territory.

Do you? The godfather’s not something we hear every year no matter what competition it is.

However, I do come up with some songs I would love for skaters to skate to, so I need to go revisit that thread

The Skating Music Wiki has a list:

They left out my favorite Godfather program: Paradis/Ouellette's 2013-14 Free Skate.

They had just edged out Paul/Islam at 2016 Canadian Nationals and went to their first and only Worlds that year. They were in contention for the third Canadian spot until Virtue/Moir announced their comeback, and they split later that year.

I think The Godfather is great skating music. It’s been used, but not enough that I’d consider it a war horse. I’m surprised it isn’t used more often tbh.

Was actually watching Candeloro from 94 just the other day and was thinking to myself that the music was fantastic and the cut he used built nicely. Say what you will about his skating, but that was a very effective program and I think the music helped a ton.

Skaters should be using more Nino Rota in general, save the drippy and inferior R&J. (Stick with either classic for that) So I'm definitely here for any Godfather programs. Faella & Scali had a truly moving program, though they had a different story to their program.

And not much time has passed since Fear and Gibson’s version. If teams think they can interpret better than that, bless their hearts.

Yeah, I mean, imagine what a team with good skating skills in both partners could achieve? ;)

I kid, I just don't think F&G had the ultimate interpretation outside of the costumes. :)

 Yes, returning champions ruined their dreams, and not their inferior skating. You somehow forgot to mention P&O did not make the free skate at those worlds. Not even close. They should NOT have edged our P&I that year, and they also proceeded broke up as a couple. Some skaters just come to a natural end to their career, even ones we think are lovely/enjoy watching.

There’s a difference between having a chance and getting beaten by all of the teams in contention for the last Olympic spot because of your so-called “inferior skating”, and knowing that it’s tilting at windmills to continue, unless you have the over $100K to spend on the chance that someone with a lock is injured.
