I agree completely. Woodley did so well in the short program at her JPG last season but has been inconsistent since. She seems to be settling in now. Rose is really learning to hone in her power and was so much more controlled at nationals compared to previous skates. Landry was dealing with an injury and couldn't practice lutz or flip (they talked about this on the nationals stream a lot) otherwise she would have had an assignment.
Gosh I really feel for her. I have had only one episode of vertigo and the first few minutes of it was probably the worst I've felt in my life. It felt like I was spinning, my vision was wavy like some cartoon representation of taking drugs, I was instantly incredibly nauseous and drenched in sweat, and that was all before the vomiting started. I seriously cannot imagine doing something like a spin or multi-revolution jump if I was experiencing even a fraction of those symptoms. She's a tough woman, I'm sure we'll see her back and even stronger in the future.Medland Spence had to withdraw from the free skate at nationals due to vertigo. She seems determined to come back so I hope Skate Canada will give her opportunities next season if she can get healthy again.

It this is true I hope they will send her to Bavarian open to get her jr world minimums so she can be named to the team.
She's been released to compete domestically in Canada but it doesn't sound like she's been released to compete internationally yet. Unless that was the scuttlebutt/word on the ground in Gatineau this weekend.

Maddie seems to skate better when she is "skating angry" after a disappointing SP. Gabby was having so much jump trouble in the morning practice that I was surprised she skated as well as she did in the FP.
I believe it is generally one year from the last international competition for the previous country, but am not sure.
I’m the arena, Minsol skated “small”. Gabby projected to the rafters and the difference in performance quality was quite large. Still, minsol is the future and we are lucky to have her
Depends on how long their former federation waits to release them. Sitting out period is 1 year, which she has already done.
