Arrghh missed it - Ted was just talking about being able to watch live stream of the Olympic Team selection announcement this evening - but I missed the time. I think he said 7 pm but even if he did I didn't hear the time zone. Anybody catch it?

Medland Spence had to withdraw from the free skate at nationals due to vertigo. She seems determined to come back so I hope Skate Canada will give her opportunities next season if she can get healthy again.

Congratulations to Maddie on getting her second Olympic ticket. And I'm sure she's especially thrilled that her BFF Lia is going too.

Solid championship debut for Minsol. I somewhat suspect that the component marks would have been higher if she was eligible for international competitions this season.

This was a great nationals for the women. The top 10 all met the minimum target score for a senior international (with Woodley and Rose eligible to skate senior next season; Lin still has another season to wait). I hope there will be a strong Canadian presence on the international scene next season.
